To use such a hook element of a mooring strap usually provided with a ratchet device in place of the current hooks, it is firstly necessary that the mooring strap can be used in a variable manner. In the case of a hook element device according to the invention used on a base surface in the form of a sheet with oblong holes, it is possible, for example, to select different positioning positions. On the one hand, the point hook can be inserted into an oblong hole so that the body of the hook element with the strap are parallel to the surface of the sheet with an oblong hole. Similarly, it is possible to introduce the handle into the oblong hole and to place the hook element, for example, with the handle practically transverse to the oblong hole which has the advantage that the body of the hook element and the mooring strap are applied practically at right angles to the sheet with oblong holes. The biased arrangements are also part of the invention. In this case, when the hook element is stressed by a pull, like the handle which has a larger surface than that of the hook, and the edge of the handle is exerted on the sheet with oblong holes, this reduces at least the deformation, namely the bending, or even the tearing of the base surface in its sheet metal shape with oblong holes. In addition, it is possible to have a support at three points of the hook element according to the invention when the hook is engaged in an oblong hole in the base surface in the form of a sheet with oblong holes because the body of the The hook element with the strap makes an acute angle with respect to the surface of the sheet. According to another development of the invention, the loop receiving the mooring strap has two branches with holes for receiving a stud, advantageously, a threaded stud. Between the two branches, the stud carries a tightening sleeve provided with a socket. The bushing is narrower than the clamping sleeve, leaving a slight axial clearance between the bushing and the clamping sleeve when the clamping sleeve is securely locked at the loop of the strap. In addition, the bush has a small radial clearance relative to the clamping sleeve which allows it to easily rotate around the clamping sleeve. Thus, and advantageously, there is a slight clearance. When the stud is screwed into the loop, the clamping sleeve guarantees a minimum distance between the two branches and prevents them from twisting. The socket itself is surrounded by the lashing strap. The sleeve and the adapter sleeve constitute a device functioning as a plain bearing. According to another advantageous development of the invention, the hook element is forged, which gives it great strength. The invention also relates to a mooring means, namely a mooring strap provided with a ratchet device and fastening elements according to the invention for immobilizing a vehicle on a base surface constituted by structures on the surface with passages, for example, perforated sheets to immobilize vehicles, for example, by immobilizing one of the wheels or other component. This is the use of hook elements according to the invention with known securing means instead of the current hooks, which avoids having to describe the practical arrangement. This arrangement corresponds, in general, to that of known devices. The mooring strap according to the invention with the ratchet device and the hook elements as defined above for immobilizing a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, for example, a wheel of the vehicle on a base surface constituted by a structure in the form of a surface with passages such as oblong holes or other openings, is put in place in a functional manner as described below. A hook element is engaged at the free end of the mooring strap by its handle in a passage of the base surface by applying it against the edge of the passage of the base surface, for example, by putting it practically square to the oblong hole. This is done directly at the wheel of the vehicle, at the tread of the tire. The mooring strap is then passed over a wheel of the vehicle to be immobilized, that is to say over the tread of the tire of this wheel. This arrangement can, as shown, be applied to one or more of the wheels of the vehicle to be transported, as necessary and according to the technical data. A motor vehicle within the meaning of the invention corresponds to all vehicles or installations using a hook element according to the invention or a mooring strap according to the invention; this applies, for example also to trailers or vehicles driven by muscular force such as cycles.
